SASSA Opens New Service Offices in Rural Areas

In a major step toward improving accessibility and service delivery, SASSA has officially opened 15 new service offices in rural communities across South Africa. This expansion represents a significant investment in bringing government services closer to those who need them most.

Bridging the Distance Gap

For many rural residents, accessing SASSA services has meant traveling long distances, often requiring expensive transport and taking valuable time away from work or family responsibilities. These new offices aim to eliminate this barrier.

  • Eastern Cape: 4 new offices in rural districts
  • Limpopo: 3 new offices serving remote communities
  • KwaZulu-Natal: 3 new offices in underserved areas

  • North West: 2 new offices
